It has been a difficult year for everyone! We needed a ToTOL team building, fun day to re-energize. We rented a room at a local brewery for the entire day. Lavona planned team building activities that included feats of skill, athletic competitions, as well as hand-eye coordination contests. Next we played trivia and then lunch was catered in from a local Indian food restaurant. After lunch we listed out all of the positives that happened to the lab and lab members over the past 12 months and listed the goals for the next 12 months. Finally, we had a major brainstorming session, whereby members of the lab threw out new project ideas, paradigm changing experiments and new potential avenues for future funding.
